'Hive'

I wanted to create a sculpture that had a very natural look - loosely based on a wasps nest and a bee -hive and with the sound of bees at work - a sense of a communal activity - a space to be shared.
Made from shoe -sole felt, washing sponges ,cornish fishing nets, perspex , rubber and steel.
